Buy real homemade Italian Pesto and help a Harlequin child

As many of you know, Iris Connelly, one of Harlequin’s pupils, is seriously ill.  In February Iris was diagnosed with a brain tumour.  So far she has had surgery, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy.  Iris’ parents, Debra and Sean, are getting support and help from “The Rainbow Trust”.  For more info please visit www.rainbowtrust.org.uk.  Here is a small extract from their web site:

The staff at Harlequin Montessori Nursery has been incredibly supportive to Iris’ family and, being parents of small children like Iris, we felt we had to do something too!!!  So we decided to come up with a special idea to help raise funds.

It seems that one of the mummies makes “the best homemade pesto in all of Essex”!  Some of the mummies will be hosting a “Free Pesto Tasting” directly outside Harlequin nursery on the following dates and times, weather permitting.

23, 24, 25 June (Wed, Thur, Fri) at 9:00—9:30 and 15:30—16:00 each day.

This wonderful pesto will be available for purchase for £3 per 4oz pot. 

Each pot will serve four portions over pasta. 

The Pesto can be kept in the fridge for 7 days or in the freezer for 3 months.
It also makes a great gift for family, friends, and neighbours!!!

All fresh ingredients have been furnished, at cost, by
